Support

subarctic research

From the Tundra, with strength

supporting health at the cnsc

Help us refresh our fitness room for physical and mental wellness in one of Canada’s most remote research stations.

Your donation supports the health of researchers, staff, and guests who dedicate themselves to northern science—where a jog outside isn’t always possible in polar bear country.

In a setting as isolated as Churchill, having a reliable indoor space to exercise is essential for staying healthy, balanced, and focused. Our guests—from polar bear researchers to permafrost scientists—spend weeks or months here, and we want to ensure they’re supported in body and mind.

Our goal is to replace aging cardio and strength equipment, improve the room’s layout, comfort, and safety, and create a welcoming space that promotes daily movement, recovery, and resilience
