Volunteer Opportunities

As a non-profit research and education facility, the Churchill Northern Studies Centre utilizes volunteers throughout the year to assist staff with regular programming and special events. Volunteers receive free room and board in return for 6 hours per day of assistance. See the Volunteer FAQ for more details.

General volunteer position tasks may include light housekeeping, newsletter mailings, cook's helper, dish washer, assisting with visiting school groups, senior groups or university courses, etc. From time to time we may also post specific skills sets that we are looking for (e.g. welding. computer network administrations, library organization, research field assistant, insect identification).
